Rise of the planet of the apes is about a doctor who decides to use formulas to improve the brain function of apes. When he perfects a formula but the formula could be more than what was bargained for. The ape was raised by humans for eight years and because of an event that happened he has to go live in an ape sanctuary. He eventually finds a way to get out and help others.

This movie was well made! The story line was great, it is the type of movie that you have to watch the whole thing straight through or you will lose your place. The acting was fantastic! I recommend this movie to most, it is not a type of movie that children would enjoy watching because the story is too complex for kids to understand.
