3.7 out of 5Mr. Poppers Penguins is based off of the book tells the story of how Mr. Popper got 6 penguins living with him. His father dies and sends him penguins, he was going to get rid of them but then his kids end up enjoying the penguins which means Mr. Popper gets more time with his kids. The penguins end up laying eggs and only 1 did not hatch so Mr. Popper got rid of them and then gets them back for his kids.
This movie was a cute movie! Definitely family friendly. Jim Carrey was a good pick for the role of Mr. Popper. The storyline was fun and had an element of disappointment which was overcome. I would recommend this movie if you are looking for a movie to go to as a family. It is one that would make a good movie night at the house too!
