Burlesque

Burlesque is the story of a girl from Iowa who goes to L.A. to achieve her dreams of being a dancer and singer. She finds a club called Burlesque and decides to start there as a waitress and eventually got a part in the show, She is able to use her talent of singing and dancing to save the club which would have had to be sold otherwise.

I enjoyed it alot, it was a musical with Cher and Christina Aguleria as the main characters, I loved the costumes and the music plus it gives you the feel of LA and show biz! it was a movie where to get a feel for it you have to enjoy musicals, LA and acheiving dreams of being a performer. It is a movie about showgirls so if you are under the age of 15/16 then it would probably be innapropiate.

Morning Glory

The story of Morning Glory is about a girl named Becky Fuller who is an executive producer for a morning news show but gets fired and is out to look for new work, a morning show called daybreak gives her a job and she has to make the show a sucess or the TV company will get rid of the show. It shows her journey in how she tries to take a dead morning show with members who do not enjoy their job and make the show a sucess along with creating friendships between the members.

This movie had a good storyline, some of the acting was dull and dry but overall it was a movie that i was able to enjoy and smile at :) It had a good combination of funny, emotional, uplifting, and dramatic parts
